Does Randy's use Organic foods?
Only if you are willing to pay organic prices. We can use whatever foods you like,
however, Randy's chooses only the freshest ingredients possible while keeping
quality, health, and nutrition high and keeping costs low. We are a healthier choice
company without the outrageous price tag that is normally associated with healthier
choice foods.
Is Randy's "Health Food?"
We've found so many different definitions and individual interpretations concerning
'Health Food' that we choose not to use this title for our cuisine. Randy's only uses
fresh, natural, and nutritious whole foods based on a dietary intake of our
hunter-gatherer ancestors. Based on this interpretation we feel we are a 'healthier
choice' style of nutritional intake designed to give you a lean, strong, healthy body.
Why does Randy's use chocolate?
Even though Chocolate was not part of our hunter-gatherer ancestors diet, we have
incorporated what we have researched to be the least offensive category, Dark
Chocolate, and because we love chocolate. We also sparingly include these to
satisfy our taste buds and only use the highest quality, Imported Chocolates.
Where is Randy's restaurant located?
We decided to try our style of cuisine as safely and cost effectively as possible by
catering and providing our 'Chef To Go' so we currently do not have a restaurant.
However, we have been approached by some doctors, friends, family, and strangers
who have offered to invest in the opening of a Randy's Café, Bistro or Restaurant
which we greatly appreciate. However, due to the amount of time needed to run a
restaurant, we've decided to only offer catering at this time. Our future dream is to
open a Bed & Breakfast offering a unique resort get-away which would incorporate
our cuisine, life-style, and philosophies. You can have my food daily though, just
check out our weekly meals page. Why go out when you can have us deliver you
quality meals for the week in the relaxed privacy of your own home.
How long does Randy's food stay fresh?
The nuts last for weeks and months, however, they're so good you'll be lucky if they
last two days, the meats at least a week, the produce varies due to type used,
however, most will last up to a week. I can always prepare your food accordingly so
that you get the longest storage life for example serving our signature house
dressing on the side for the spinach salad so the leaves stay fresh and don't wilt. All
but the Cajun nuts are to be refrigerated to ensure longevity and freshness.
Does Randy's make all of their own recipes?
Yes, we blend and combine all of our foods and spices in unique ways and try to
come up with new recipes all the time.
Does Randy's have a cookbook?
Not as of yet. We have had great interest in providing one, however, we are still
uncertain whether we want to or not. If we decide to we'll make a page for it and let
you know how to order it.
